Jeju City media art with touch-to-bloom flowers: Nohyeong Supermarket
Nohyeong Supermarket (노형수퍼마켙) is an indoor media art exhibition hall of about 1,200 pyeong (4,000㎡) on Nohyeong-ro in Jeju City. The route starts in a black-and-white zone built on the story of a mysterious door that opened in 1981 and drained Jeju of its color, then opens into color video rooms up to about 20m high, an interactive section where flowers bloom at a touch, and a retro bag photo zone. Nohyeong Supermarket sits 15 minutes by car from Jeju Airport, making it one of the easiest indoor things to do in Jeju Island when cloudy weather forces a change of plan.
