What kind of café is Robain Coffee, in front of Sinchon Port in Jocheon, Jeju?

While stopping by Jocheon-eup in Jeju, I found a café with great atmosphere and walked into Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch. They roast their own beans, so the coffee was delicious, but they also use a professional tea brand so the tea was excellent too. On top of that, the ocean view helped me cool off from the heat!

Each floor has a different mood, and there's a separate no-kids-zone, so I'd recommend this café to anyone who wants to stay somewhere quieter and more peaceful.

Why I recommend Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch

1) A wide-open ocean view of a Jeju harbor. The Jeju sea stretches out in front of the café, so you can sip coffee while relaxing and enjoying the ocean scenery. The calm harbor visible through the window adds to the mood, making it a great spot to rest during a Jeju trip.

2) Freshly roasted coffee, done in-house. This is a roastery café that roasts its own beans daily, so you can really taste the coffee's flavor. Besides coffee, they also offer premium teas and various desserts.

3) Varied spaces from the first floor to the rooftop. There's the first floor, second floor, rooftop, and even an annex, each with a slightly different mood. The unique atmosphere blending Jeju stone walls and harbor scenery makes it great for photos and for spending time at ease.

Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. The restroom is inside, and parking is available in the dedicated lot in front of the café.

Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch is located in front of Sinchon Port in Jocheon-eup.

I drove there, and the parking lot was spacious and easy to park in, which was great.

Personally, I tend to avoid cafés that are hotspots right in the middle of busy areas because they're too loud.

Robain Coffee felt uncrowded and relaxed, exactly the kind of place perfect for taking a break!

There were dol hareubang (stone grandfather statues) friends in front of the café, and they were so cute. A dol hareubang having tea — a vibe you can only feel in Jeju, haha.

There was also an outdoor terrace seating area.

First-floor sofa seats and bar seating at Robain Coffee

Robain Coffee has a first floor, second floor, annex, and even a rooftop, so the space was incredibly large.

The comfy sofa seats on the first floor. Windows everywhere and lots of plants made for a healing atmosphere.

There was also a separate space where several people could talk privately.

The ordering counter doubles as bar seating.

The café is huge, but there's a separate spot for returning your cups, so it's easy to use.

The annex and the lawn at Robain Coffee

Step outside from the first floor and there's also an annex building. With so much space, it never feels crowded no matter where you go — there's always a sense of ease.

In front of it there was also a green lawn (pets are not allowed).

Rooftop ocean view over Sinchon Port

I was curious about the rooftop too, so I went up. There's a canopy, so on days that aren't too hot, it seems like a great spot to sit and enjoy coffee.

All because of this wide-open ocean view, haha. A café where you can see green lawn and the sea together! Unimaginable in Seoul.

The second floor is a no-kids zone: my window seat

We decided to have our drinks on the second floor. The second floor was a no-kids-zone.

There's a private room available if you reserve ahead of time.

Next to it, there's a separate table area.

There were so many different kinds of spaces, so it was nice being able to pick according to your preference.

As a window seat lover, I went for the window again this time. A bonus of peaceful ocean scenery.

Iced Americano 6,000 won and Fragrant Spring tea 7,000 won

What we ordered: an iced Americano (₩6,000) and Fragrant Spring (₩7,000).

Fitting for a café that roasts its own beans, the coffee tasted excellent.

You can buy the beans too, in case that's useful to know. They also gave us a drip bag as a free gift, which I appreciated.

Their tea is just as serious as their coffee. Tea varieties with cozy names like Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, Morning, Noon, and Evening.

Among them I picked Spring, which has green tea, lemon myrtle, and beet. Drinking it cold, refreshing and fragrant, cooled off the heat just as much as the iced Americano.
