Where to park at Imgane Nakji Bossam

Parking is a breeze — there's a free Citizen Happiness Parking Lot just 20 meters to the left of the store, so no need to stress about it! (Address: 43 Indong 28-gil)

Inside Imgane Nakji Bossam: room for groups and kids

The interior stood out with its clean wood-tone design, and the tables were spaced generously so the whole place felt open and comfortable — great for a family visit or a big group. I heard they actually get lots of group bookings of 20 or more after reservation!

They also have baby chairs on hand, so bringing kids is no problem at all, and disposable aprons are provided too, which meant I could dig into the octopus stir-fry without worrying about my clothes!

There's also in-store Wi-Fi, easy to connect and use. While we were there, a family with a kid was using it to connect a handheld game console — handy for keeping kids entertained 👍

Imgane Nakji Bossam menu and what we ordered

Here's the menu at Imgane Nakji Bossam. For meal dishes, there's the Imgane Han-sang set that comes with octopus stir-fry and boiled pork, plus a grilled octopus stir-fry and a brisket stir-fry, alongside anju dishes like nakji bossam and spicy squid salad 👍 You can also choose mild or spicy, in case that's useful. We ended up ordering the Imgane Han-sang for two and the grilled brisket stir-fry for two!

Side dishes, porridge and cold bean sprout soup

Once we ordered, they brought out the side dishes and sauces first — a really generous spread with japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), bean sprouts, cabbage, and more, and everything tasted great 👍

Then came the porridge and cold bean sprout soup, both nice as a warm-up before the main dishes — the porridge was seasoned so well that I ate it warm and happy 👍

Self-serve egg: one per person at Imgane Nakji Bossam

There's also a corner in the store where you get one free egg per person to grill yourself — grilling up an egg to eat alongside the main dish was great, and having it free of charge meant no guilt about it! (₩500 for each additional egg)

Rice came out too, a generous portion in a big bowl, along with dried seaweed flakes and sesame oil — perfect for eating with the main dishes, and I set aside the self-serve egg to mix in as well 😁

How do the herbal bossam, brisket and grilled octopus taste?

After a short wait, the mains arrived — every dish came out so generously that the table was completely full, and it all looked incredibly appetizing just to look at 👍

We started with the bossam (boiled pork) — the meat was tender rather than dry, so the texture was great from the first bite, and true to the name 'herbal bossam,' the meat had a subtle herbal aroma that paired nicely with the wraps, radish, and sauce for a light, easy meal!

The grilled brisket stir-fry lived up to its name with a subtle smoky char, and the brisket's rich savory flavor combined with the spicy seasoning made it perfect over rice — the smokiness really brought out the sauce's flavor, and the nuttiness grew the more you chewed, giving a satisfying umami hit every bite 👍

The grilled octopus stir-fry also had that same subtle smokiness, and the octopus wasn't chewy or tough at all — it kept a nice bouncy texture that got more satisfying to chew. Piling plenty of octopus and sauce on top of rice made the spicy flavor pair perfectly with the rice — so good 👍

Mixing the brisket and octopus into the rice together let me enjoy that full smoky flavor from both, with a bouncy, chewy, tender mix of textures — genuinely such a satisfying meal 👍
