Yeonnam-dong café with cousins: ₩15,000 Hydro-Honey drip, Central Site
In short
Central Site Yeonnam is a three-floor specialty roastery café on Yeonhui-ro in Mapo, Seoul. The writer visited with two younger cousins and tried the Colombia Cherry Velvet Java Hydro-Honey drip (₩15,000), the Guatemala Entre Volcanes Washed drip (₩8,000) and the classic tiramisu (₩8,500). Central Site Yeonnam is not cheap, but the coffee quality and the different feel of each floor make it worth the price.

Central Site Yeonnam is a café I'd recommend to anyone in Yeonnam-dong who wants to take coffee seriously. This post should help people trying specialty coffee for the first time, and anyone looking for a café with a good atmosphere in Yeonnam-dong.
Where is Central Site Yeonnam, and what are the hours and parking?
Central Site Yeonnam is open every day from 08:00 (08:30 on Saturdays and Sundays) to 22:00. There's no parking, so you'll need to use a public parking lot.
The café stood out from the outside. It has a black exterior and sits on a main road near one of Yeonnam-dong's hot alleys, the kind of café where your feet just stop on their own as you walk past!
Central Site Yeonnam menu and prices
The menu at Central Site Yeonnam has a specialty coffee list, plus seasonal drinks, espresso and cold brew. For dessert there are chocolate cookies and tiramisu.

The big chocolate cookie is only ₩2,000!

There are three kinds of tiramisu (classic, brownie and Lotus), plus a strawberry trifle. We ordered 2 drip coffees and 1 tiramisu!

You can also buy cold brew and coffee beans to take home.
What is each floor of Central Site Yeonnam like?
1F: Brewing bar, roasting lab and the window seat under the stairs

The whole three-floor building is the café, and each floor felt different. The 1st floor has a brewing bar and a roasting lab, so you can watch the drip coffee being made right in front of you.
If you love coffee, I think the bar seats on the 1st floor would be the most fun!

There's also a window seat on the 1st floor, and since it's the space under the stairs, it felt cozy.

The water in the café is lemon water, and you can help yourself.
2F: Hall tables with a big window onto greenery
The stairs up to the 2nd floor.

The 2nd floor of Central Site Yeonnam is hall tables. The windows are big, so it gets great light, and you can see greenery outside. There were three of us, so we took a table!

The window seats are nice for sitting side by side, and also good for sitting alone.

I sat on the 2nd floor waiting for my cousin, and seeing the green through the window made the wait feel relaxing.
3F: Air-conditioned rooftop
The stairs up to the 3rd floor.

The 3rd floor of Central Site Yeonnam is a rooftop, so it felt open and airy. The light was good too, and I thought it would be atmospheric even on a rainy day! The air conditioning was running, so it was comfortable, and the rooftop seats were pretty nice.

Can you watch hand-drip brewing at the 1F brewing bar?
If you sit at the brewing bar on the 1st floor of Central Site Yeonnam, you can watch the barista hand-drip right in front of you. I wandered over for a quick look at the specialty coffee being brewed~

Watching the water slowly poured over the dripper builds the anticipation before the coffee even arrives. Seeing how a cup is made while drinking it makes the taste feel more special too, haha. They said it would take a little while, so I watched up to here and went back to my seat to wait!

The cold brew vanilla cream is ₩7,500. My cousin, who had come first and was waiting alone, was already drinking this one, haha.

They brought what we ordered to our seats!
Is the ₩15,000 Colombia Hydro-Honey drip worth it?

The Colombia Las Flores Duo Cherry Velvet Java Hydro-Honey is ₩15,000. The beans are known for notes of pineapple, muscat, lychee syrup and white flowers, and when I drank it, it felt more like drinking tea than coffee.
The aroma is deep and complex like aged wine, yet it went down clean, with no bitterness or heaviness. I usually don't like acidic coffee, but this was a special experience, like realizing specialty coffee can taste like this... ₩15,000 can feel like a lot, but that one experience made it feel worth it.
Want a nutty drip with no acidity? Try the ₩8,000 Guatemala

The Guatemala Entre Volcanes 2026 Washed is ₩8,000, with notes of hazelnut, butterscotch and milk chocolate. My cousin wanted a nutty coffee, so we asked, and they recommended this bean as the one with the least acidity!
It was heavier and nuttier than the coffee I had, so I think it would taste more familiar to people new to specialty coffee. For ₩8,000, it was a good way to start with specialty coffee~
Is the tiramisu at Central Site Yeonnam a must-order?

The verdict: the classic tiramisu (₩8,500) at Central Site Yeonnam is a must-try. The mascarpone cream was piled on thick and rich, and it felt hearty.
I heard it's made with an authentic Italian recipe, and the cream is so rich that paired with drip coffee it's a perfect combination!!!
Honest review: is Central Site Yeonnam worth a visit?

Central Site Yeonnam is on the pricey side, but the quality and experience come with it. It's a roastery café using its own roasted beans, so the coffee quality was clearly different, and with three floors that each have their own mood, it works whether you come alone or with a group.
On a day when you want to really enjoy a cup of coffee in Yeonnam-dong, Central Site Yeonnam seems like a good pick! I recommend it as a Yeonnam-dong café, haha.
