Sangmu Western restaurant with napa cabbage caesar salad: Bueokgan
Bueokgan Sangmu Branch is a Western-style restaurant with an antique European look on Seogwangju-ro in Seo-gu, Gwangju. After dropping their child off at daycare, the writer and his wife shared a napa cabbage caesar salad, abalone cream risotto and shrimp rosé pasta over a weekday lunch, and since each table at Bueokgan Sangmu Branch has its own mood, the room suits dates, families and small gatherings alike. The food was good, but the atmosphere is what stayed with them longest.
