Gwanganda Jjji is a sashimi restaurant on the 6th floor of Sanbada Hoetown in Gwangalli, Busan, where the tables look straight out at Gwangan Bridge. Two friends booked through Naver and shared the dachi set at 55,000 won per person, served course by course from side dishes and seafood starters to a flatfish, red seabream, flounder and sea bass sashimi platter, blue crab stew, braised and fried crab, and abalone porridge. Gwanganda Jjji suits a night out when you want a full run of seafood dishes rather than sashimi alone.

Gwangalli lunch café, jambon pizza and avocado toast: Working Holiday

Working Holiday Minrak is a brunch café on the 7th floor of the Badamaru building at the far end of Gwangalli Beach in Suyeong, Busan, looking out over Gwangan Bridge. On a weekday lunch visit with a friend, the order was the jambon pizza at 26,000 won and the smashed avocado at 17,000 won, and the pistachio-topped jambon pizza paired well with the avocado toast served with a poached egg and lemon. Window seats at Working Holiday Minrak were mostly taken even at weekday lunch, so check whether a Gwangan Bridge-view table can be reserved before going.
