Bongridan-gil sushi lunch in Gimhae with shrimp tempura: Sushi Hwa
Sushi Hwa is a sushi restaurant on Bongridan-gil in Bonghwang-dong, Gimhae, Gyeongnam. On a weekday lunch date with her husband, the writer ordered the fire sushi set for 39,000 won with half garlic and half spicy sauce, plus 5 pieces of shrimp tempura for 6,500 won, adding cold soba and warm udon. Parking at Sushi Hwa is tight so they used a nearby public lot, but the smoky aroma rising from the flame-seared sushi made the lunch memorable.
