Friday evening solo seats at a Daegu Korean restaurant: Hyangtaek
Hyangtaek Seongseo Keimyung University Branch is a newly opened Korean restaurant near Exit 5 of Gangchang Station in Dalseo, Daegu. An evening visit brought mackerel gondre rice (14,000 won) and yukhoe bibimbap (14,000 won), plus a mushroom platter (6,000 won) free through the weekday review event. Wood-tone interiors with two- and four-seat tables made solo dining easy, and the mackerel gondre rice was the most memorable Korean dish this writer has had recently.
