Dim sum and knife-cut noodles after a Gwanghwamun show: Cheonghwa
Cheonghwa Uyuk Dosakmyeon is a Taiwanese-Chinese dim sum restaurant in Gwanghwamun, Jongno, Seoul, a five-minute walk from Jongak Station Exit 1 and right in front of an Olive Young. A married couple stopped in after a Gwanghwamun performance and cleared all four dishes they ordered — shumai, fried eggplant, kkwabaerou (sweet and sour pork), and yubal dosakmyeon, knife-cut noodles made from day-aged dough and tossed in soy sauce and scallion oil, which was the clear favourite. For dim sum and knife-cut noodles on one table in Gwanghwamun, Cheonghwa Uyuk Dosakmyeon is well worth a return visit.
