Bulgwang Station tonkatsu takeout, 3 lunchboxes: Insaeng Donkatsu
Insaeng Donkatsu Bulgwang branch is a tonkatsu (pork cutlet) restaurant in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, a 2-minute walk from Exit 6 of Bulgwang Station and near the back gate of NC Department Store. Three lunchboxes were ordered for takeout and eaten at home — cheese tonkatsu, menchi-katsu (fried minced meat cutlet) and garlic hamburg steak — and the cheese tonkatsu batter stayed crisp despite the trip, while the menchi-katsu had a mild kick from cheongyang chili. With its open kitchen and a government 'good price' certification mark on the wall, Insaeng Donkatsu Bulgwang branch feels like a long-running neighborhood tonkatsu shop.
