Visiting alone, the writer tried the salty financier (2,900 won), the fig financier (3,200 won) and an egg tart: the salty one had a thick, crackly crust, while the fig one tasted clean without any cream cheese. With two-seater tables that are easy to take solo, Byway Bakers is a handy stop for picking up snack-sized bread.
