Buldang-dong Korean restaurant, sharing two bowls at lunch: Hyangtaek
Hyangtaek Cheonan Buldang Branch is a rice-focused Korean restaurant in Buldang-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, Chungnam. Arriving at lunch peak with a friend, we found every table full and sat side by side at the single-seat counter, ordering the eggplant doenjang rice bowl and the mackerel gondre rice to share — two rice dishes that tasted surprisingly different. If you want mild, nutty Korean home cooking, ordering both at Hyangtaek Cheonan Buldang Branch and splitting them is the way to go.
