Gung-dong Western eatery, Daejeon: shrimp pasta, pizza at Ciment
Ciment Chungnam National University Branch is a budget-friendly Western restaurant with a concrete-toned interior, set on the main alley of the Gung-dong university district in Yuseong, Daejeon. Two of us shared Toowoomba shrimp pasta (12,000 won), a half-and-half pizza in potato and American cheese (14,000 won) and a salad (3,500 won), and the pasta's five shrimp were just right for two people. Dipping the thin-crust half-and-half pizza into the pasta sauce is the winning order at Ciment.
