Is it light enough for everyday summer use?

I tend to carry a lot of things, so I prefer comfortable bags. This time, I tried the Meda Bag Rattan Bag with summer use in mind.

The first thing I noticed was how light it was. I thought it would be nice to carry in everyday life, not only when traveling.

What were the exterior and interior storage like?

I liked that it was light, but at first glance, I also wondered if it looked a little flimsy.

When I looked inside, it was set up in a way that seemed quite practical.

With the zipper, I felt I could worry less about losing things. In the season when outfits get lighter, I find that a lighter bag is better too.

One reason I loved summer was that clothes become lighter.

When summer comes, I want to carry this bag on easy walks with my twins. This is not a story of having used it on walks with them yet—just something I’m looking forward to.

What kinds of bags and outfits do I usually prefer?

Looking around one corner of the master bedroom, I do not have that many bags. Rather than wanting lots of bags, what matters more to me is whether I can carry one comfortably and often.

In winter, I used a suede bag often.

I feel that light shades such as beige and ivory suit me well. I wore outfits like that even when I took the twins for their vaccinations.

What everyday moments did I picture while preparing a summer bag?

As the weather got warmer, I started missing my old trip to Italy. Someday, I want to travel there again with my two daughters.

Rome was my favorite place at the time.

I also remembered the time I spent in Positano.

It was a European trip I took at twenty-seven, after leaving my job, at my father’s suggestion. At the time, planning the itinerary and budget felt overwhelming, but now it remains a choice I’m glad I made.

I regret that I could not continue traveling because of the cost. I want to give my children opportunities to experience the wider world too.

These days, my everyday life is filled with raising twins. The children have started eating oatmeal, and I was amazed that they ate it better than I expected. They seem to grow so quickly day by day.

Winter has passed, and I am waiting for spring.

The weather warmed up and then turned cold again, but as the season changes, I find myself thinking more often about traveling and outings with the children.
