Where is BAS Burger Seonyudo, and what about parking?

BAS Burger Seonyudo is right outside Seonyudo Station Exit 4. There's no parking, so you'll need a nearby public lot such as the Yangpyeong 2-dong office lot.

Since it's right by the station, it'd also be great for takeout if you're heading to a picnic at Seonyudo Park or Yanghwa Hangang Park! It's not a long walk from Dangsan Station either, so I'd recommend it as a lunch spot for office workers around Seonyudo and Dangsan 👍

Atmosphere and how to order

The tables work for everything from dining solo to going in a group. The place hasn't been open long, so it's clean, and it has a proper burger-joint, kind of American(?) feel haha

You can see the whole kitchen, which made me feel like the burgers are made extra cleanly ☺️ You just order at the kiosk at your own table.

Are there vegan and kids menus?

BAS Burger Seonyudo has sooo many burgers, plus a vegan menu and a kids menu. With this many choices, I had a happy dilemma.

With the vegan menu, it'd be a good meeting spot even if a friend doesn't eat meat. There's a kids menu too, so parents with little ones can enjoy a meal with them 😆 It also seems like a nice place to order a simple snack like chicken or a cheese bar and have a beer on your own,, 🫢

Changing toppings and buns

As a handmade burger place should, BAS Burger Seonyudo offers lots of options for toppings and buns, which I liked. Dieters would love swapping the bun for lettuce, and I like sweet onions, so I switched my topping to grilled onion 🥰

Self-serve chips and the sauce bar

While you wait for your order at BAS Burger Seonyudo, you can help yourself to chips. It reminded me of the peanuts at Five Guys,,, but chips? Even better!

The self-serve bar lets you take as many chips, ketchup, mayonnaise, salt and pepper and more as you like. The best part of eating in ⭐️⭐️⭐️

And the crazy part: if you order a set or a fried side, you can take all of these sauces. Sauce lovers will be so happy 🥹 There are lots of flavors, so it was great for grabbing several and trying them.

How are the Double BAS Burger set and Sriracha cheeseburger set?

The burgers at BAS Burger Seonyudo come out in a flash after you order, so speed gets a pass right away 👏👏👏 I ordered one burger as a French fries set and the other as a coleslaw set.

Double BAS Burger set: ₩12,500

The Double BAS Burger is the signature BAS Burger with two patties. It's a classic burger with beef patty, tomato, lettuce, cheese and so on, and the flavor was clean and mild.

Sriracha cheeseburger set: ₩10,800

I'm a spicy lover, so I ordered the cheeseburger with Sriracha sauce. The savory, salty cheeseburger flavor plus a little spicy Sriracha never got tiring, and I enjoyed it to the end. It's only a bit spicy(?) at the finish, so even people who can't handle heat can eat it.

Sweet grilled onion in the savory, salty Sriracha cheeseburger was such a great combination 👍 Next time I want to try it with two patties.

Coleslaw, fries and recommended sauce

The coleslaw at BAS Burger Seonyudo has less mayonnaise and more vegetables than elsewhere, so it felt healthier and I was satisfied. It's my last shred of conscience, the coleslaw I order every time I eat a burger lol

The fries are on the plain side, but dipping them in the various sauces is perfect. I highly recommend the pollock roe mayo sauce ❤️❤️❤️
