What are the texture and components of the HEEDA cleansing balm like?

It was a solid balm in a compact black container. Inside the lid was a plastic cover that sat over the product, along with a spatula for scooping out the amount needed.

The cover could be removed by turning the lid counterclockwise. I thought putting the cover back on for storage after use would also help keep it hygienic.

How did I use it?

The instructions said to use one-third of a spatula for light makeup and about one-half for heavier makeup. I scooped out about one-half, applied it to my face, then gently massaged it with my index and middle fingers for about 30 seconds.

It started as a balm, but softened into something like an oil as it met my body heat. Then I dampened my hands with a little water to emulsify it, and it turned white like a milky formula. After massaging, I cleansed lightly with foam cleanser and rinsed with water.

How did my skin feel after cleansing?

I tried it because I was concerned about blackheads and pores. My skin did not feel tight or dry after cleansing; it felt moisturized. My whiteheads and blackheads also seemed neatly cleared away, and my pores looked less noticeable.
