Is Clap Pizza Believe Heritage good for a weekday lunch?

Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage is a handmade pizza restaurant in Suseong, Daegu, and I got there and back in about an hour on a weekday lunch. After it rained all night, I was craving bread so badly... is there a connection? Nope, haha ㅠ I'd been eating rice meals lately, so I went for Western food and headed to Clap Pizza for lunch.

It's near my home, so I thought about going on the weekend, but I couldn't even be bothered and stayed in all through the holiday, lol. Weekdays call for eating well, so I did a quick one-hour trip.

What we ordered at Clap Pizza

At Clap Pizza Believe Heritage I skipped the sides and ordered a regular half-and-half pizza. The hall is big and shared with a burger place, which made it feel extra trendy.

It had been a while since I'd had pizza, so I got the regular half-and-half with no sides. Some menu items were sold out, which made them feel rare, like I just had to try them, lol.

The flavors were carbonara / pepperoni halves, haha. I added a cola, and garlic dip and pickles came as standard. Hot sauce too, haha. You can refill drinks at the dispenser, which was nice.

Clap Pizza regular size: portion and taste

The regular pizza was filling and loaded with toppings. This was about my third visit to Clap Pizza Believe Heritage. Every time I came there was an event, so I'd eaten the single-serving size, and this was my first time with a whole big pizza. The crust was a decent thickness, and the toppings didn't slide off, which made it easy to eat. My boyfriend and I shared it nicely, three slices each.

You can pair the pizza with onion pickles from the self bar, and it's a place where eating alone isn't awkward at all, haha. Both delivery and takeout are available.

The building itself has stylish interiors, so it's good for taking photos, and it was clean and well kept inside.

How does Clap Pizza compare with delivery pizza?

There were no undercooked spots in the crust, and the pizza came out surprisingly fast. The sides include ragu pasta and chicken wing bones, and I'll definitely add them next time!! The staff were friendly too, and if you're looking for proper handmade pizza in Daegu, I highly recommend it!

Delivery pizza is pricey, and it often pretends to be loaded with toppings but leaves you with a greasy memory afterward. Clap Pizza had none of those unpleasant moments, haha.

Is Clap Pizza Believe Heritage good for a date or evening beer?

I think it would also be nice for a casual beer in the evening. You can add extra sauces too, so if the garlic dip isn't enough, order more, haha.

The menu is surprisingly varied, and with kiosk ordering you can choose without feeling rushed, which I liked. The ham on the pepperoni wasn't too salty, so I was very satisfied, and the wood tones and soft lighting inside made it easy to talk. A date spot that more than holds up ^^~

Group tables, tableware and the review event at Clap Pizza

Clap Pizza Believe Heritage has group tables too, so it's convenient! The tableware was neatly arranged. I couldn't be bothered with small plates and just ate, but there's one tray and one bowl, and for two people reusing those works perfectly, lol.

A free fusilli salad is available through the review event. Since the place built its reputation by word of mouth starting from Seoul, it was a very satisfying lunch :)
