Winter mini knit bag for Christmas dates: Meda Bag

I was looking for a small bag to carry lightly in winter, so I tried this Meda Bag knit bag. Leather bags can feel heavy, and it seemed like a good option for days when a very tiny mini bag would not hold enough.

Was it easy to carry on a Christmas date?

I actually took it out on a Christmas date. I wondered whether carrying it in my hand would be inconvenient, but it was light, so it was comfortable to carry. My boyfriend, who came with me, said the bag was pretty too.

How did it arrive, and what was the keyring like?

The bag arrived double packaged in plastic and a nonwoven bag. With knitwear, I worry about the yarn unraveling, so I liked that it was packed twice.

I put the keyring that came with it straight onto the bag. It looked different with and without its glasses, and I went out with it wearing the glasses.

How did it go with winter clothes?

The knit material blended naturally with coats, knit clothes, and scarves, making my whole outfit look softer. The warmth unique to knitwear also suited a date really well.

How much fits in this small bag?

It has a separate small pocket, which I used for my AirPods.

It is close to a mini bag in size, but it had more room than I expected for my everyday belongings. Even with a wallet, pouch, lip products, and phone inside, it did not feel cramped, and opening the bag during the date was not inconvenient either.

Since it is a mini bag, though, I had to put tall items in sideways. For me, it was a good size for bringing what I needed on a date or a quick outing.

Which color did I choose, and how did it feel to carry?

I debated between this and green, then chose a darker color with winter in mind. There were colors ranging from basic to bright, so I thought it would be easy to choose one to match an outfit.

It was light, which made it easy to carry in my hand. I liked that I could carry it without feeling weighed down.

Does it lose its shape or show what is inside when filled?

What I especially liked while using it was the bottom inside the bag. I thought a knit bag might be floppy, but the sturdy base supported it well, so it did not easily lose its shape even with things inside.

It was also convenient at a café: when I set it beside a chair or table, it stayed standing instead of falling over.

The knit stitch was chunky yet denser than I expected. When I used it, the things inside were not easy to see unless someone looked closely. I liked its light weight and storage space, so it is a bag I would like to use often for winter outings.
