Isu Station bar with outdoor seating: gopdoritang at Rainbow Pocha
Rainbow Pocha Isu Branch is a Korean bar in Dongjak, Seoul, a three-minute walk from Isu Station Exit 11, with retro pyeongsang (low wooden bench) seating indoors and in the outdoor yajang. The order at Rainbow Pocha was gopdoritang (spicy chicken and beef intestine stew) with chicken feet at medium spice for ₩39,900, plus self-serve rice balls and steamed egg (₩6,000) and nostalgic tteok-twigim (fried rice cakes, ₩9,900); the pot of chicken, chicken feet, glass noodles and Hanwoo beef intestine was plenty for two. Between the retro bench seats and a stew hearty enough to call for rice, Rainbow Pocha Isu Branch is a solid pick for a night out near Isu Station.
