What running routine did I use it for?
I’m in my second year of running, and I run 5 km on a treadmill 4–5 times a week. I’ve had knee arthroscopy in the past, so on days when my condition wasn’t great, I would sometimes feel pain around my kneecap.

Once the pain started, it would often last for several days, so I regularly used a knee brace. This time, I received the Lifeclue Powerhold Patellar Knee Brace and tried wearing it for my runs.

I set the treadmill speed to around 8–9 and adjusted it according to how my knees felt that day.

How were the hold and breathability while running?
The things I looked at while using it were how securely it stayed in place, breathability, and how it felt supporting my kneecap.

After securing it with the silicone pad and Velcro straps, the brace did not shift even during 30 minutes of high-intensity running. The patellar pad felt soft yet springy, giving my kneecap firm support throughout the run.
I sweat a lot after running on the treadmill, but this neoprene-and-mesh blend did not feel damp afterward and was not very sticky.
How did the strap adjustment and first-run fit feel?
After attaching the silicone pad and straps, I adjusted the straps to fit around my knee. It was lightweight, so it felt comfortable to wear.

The pad felt like it held the center of my knee in place, so it was comfortable from the start of the run—especially during the first 1 km. Adding the enclosed muscle tape gave me even more stability. The next day, my muscles seemed to recover quickly, and I had no knee pain, so I was pleased.

What difference did using tape alongside it make?
When I used tape on its own, it sometimes came off during a run, and I also had to be mindful of skin irritation.

Using the brace and tape together, the tube-shaped patellar pad supported my knee while the tape held it once more. To me, it felt more secure than wearing the brace alone. Even when I increased the treadmill speed, I did not feel my knee wobble, and I had no pain afterward.

Muscle tape and a guide were included in the set, so I could apply the tape while referring to the guide.
How were the price and storage after use?
At the time of the original post, it was priced in the ₩10,000 range, and it was easy to store after use, so I was satisfied for the price. In my routine of running 5 km 4–5 times a week, I liked its secure hold and fit, and it felt particularly stable when used with the tape. After using it, I wanted to challenge myself to a 10 km run, too.
