I was on my way home from somewhere in Gyeonggi, looking for something light to eat, and I got a pizza craving, so I stopped by It's Pizza Dasan :) I didn't expect much, but the set combination was better than I thought and I came away well fed.

Where is It's Pizza Dasan?

It's Pizza Dasan is at 85-13 Dasanjungang-ro 82beonan-gil, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do (1st floor), in the food alley behind the courthouse. There's more foot traffic here than you'd think, so there were quite a few people around even late at night. There are lots of apartments nearby too, and I saw plenty of families :)

Is there a wait at It's Pizza Dasan on a weekday night?

It's Pizza Dasan was almost full even well after the weekday dinner rush. I went late and was honestly surprised. It was past dinner time on a weekday and still packed, so I wondered if the neighborhood just knows about it..?

Just one seat was left and we sat right down, but if we'd been a little later we would have had to wait.

What is the pub-style atmosphere like at It's Pizza Dasan?

The interior feels closer to a pub (hofjip, a Korean beer-and-snacks place) than an ordinary pizza restaurant.

The lighting is a little dim, which is nice for relaxing, but each table is walled off like a booth, so it might feel a bit stuffy.

It's also fairly noisy overall, so keep that in mind if you want a quiet atmosphere :)

It's Pizza Dasan menu: set or à la carte?

The menu is split into sets and single items, and for 2–3 people the sets are clearly better value. The combinations are solid and the portions aren't small, so I recommend a set :)

This time I ordered the Classic Set with sweet potato pizza, shrimp salad and potato wedges.

Free dipping sauces and pickles

Sauces and pickles come as standard at It's Pizza Dasan, and with several kinds of sauce you can dip however you like.

I usually eat pizza without sauce so I skipped it, but I hear everyone enjoys picking their own :)

How big is the Classic Set, and how is the sweet potato cheese crust pizza?

The Classic Set is quite big, a little too much for two people. Maybe because it's a set, it was definitely hearty.

I chose the cheese crust for the sweet potato pizza, and it came out warm, so the cheese pull was really good :)

Pizza really is best eaten fresh in the restaurant!!

Shrimp salad in the Classic Set

The shrimp salad in the set had more shrimp than I expected, and the vegetables were fresh. It didn't feel like a half-hearted set side, and I was quite satisfied.

Personally, I thought this salad was good :)

Potatoes in the Classic Set

The potato wedges in the set were sprinkled with cheese powder, which made them clearly tastier than plain potatoes. For a set, I felt the value was decent.

Who is It's Pizza Dasan best for?

It's Pizza Dasan was a great pizza spot for a hearty set meal. The atmosphere is pub-like, so it's better for chatting and eating casually than for a quiet dinner. If you're wondering about pizza in Dasan, I think you'll be happy with a set menu :)
