Every weekend, “What should we eat for lunch today?” becomes such a big question, doesn’t it? While looking for a place with dishes that would win over the adults and that the kids would eat well too, we found Sonui Son Hongseong Naepo New Town Branch (손의손 홍성내포신도시점). From spicy, fire-kissed stir-fried webfoot octopus to warm beef brisket noodle soup with a deep broth, plus thick pork cutlet—the kids’ absolute favorite—we had the perfect meal. A spacious, pleasant dining room and easy parking

The first thing I loved upon arriving at Sonui Son Hongseong Naepo New Town Branch was the spacious, pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant was roomy, clean, and well kept throughout, so it felt easy to visit with the children. The owner and staff were also so welcoming that I felt great from the moment we walked in.

We visited for weekend lunch, so we were able to park comfortably along the street in front of the restaurant. It also looked like the building’s underground parking lot was available, so keep that in mind if you are driving! A restaurant where I did not have to worry about parking got a pass right from the start.

And here is a little tip! There is a neatly arranged self-service bar on one side of the restaurant. You can take as much crisp bean sprout and shredded radish as you need. Put rice in a large bowl, add the stir-fried webfoot octopus along with plenty of bean sprouts and shredded radish, then mix it all together... honestly, you will finish a bowl in no time.
