IFC Mall dinner, Yeouido gyukatsu set 1 with beer swap: Hurato Sikdang
Hurato Sikdang Yeouido is a Japanese restaurant serving gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) on individual tabletop braziers, on the 3rd floor of Yeouido Finance Tower in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. On a weekend evening after shopping at IFC Mall and a walk through Yeouido Park, the writer swapped the drink in set 1 for a 200ml beer and seared the gyukatsu only lightly on the outside, with salt and wasabi the best pairing of the three sauces. Staff relit the brazier before being asked each time the flame died, making the meal an easy, comfortable one.
