Apgujeong Sinpocha is a neighborhood pocha (Korean pub) on the second floor near Gaebong Station in Guro, Seoul, where an owner with 13 years in the restaurant trade cooks every dish himself. Arriving at 9:30pm, the writer ordered grilled whole tofu with kimchi for ₩18,000 and the owner's pick assorted skewers, 7 pieces for ₩15,000, and with two or more dishes ordered soju drops to ₩3,000 and beer to ₩4,000. Under soft lighting, Apgujeong Sinpocha feels like a cozy hideout for a late drink rather than a loud bar.

Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang Bucheon Main Branch is a Korean set-meal (hanjeongsik) restaurant in the Jak-dong and Kkachiul area of Bucheon, Gyeonggi, serving stone-pot rice and cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew).
