I've been looking for good solo-dining and solo-drinking spots near Yeoksam Station lately, and while searching for handmade burgers in Gangnam, I found Bass Burger Yeoksam.

Where is Bass Burger Yeoksam and how do you get in?
Bass Burger Yeoksam is in the basement of Seongbo Building. The building itself is a bit unusual, with the word BURGER written in big letters at the entrance going down to the basement.

It's only about 101m from Exit 3 of Yeoksam Station, close enough to pop in for a casual lunch near Yeoksam Station too.

Atmosphere and bar seating for solo diners
Walking inside, the brick interior with record frames on the walls stood out. The BAS BURGER neon sign caught my eye first.

The seating was a long bar-style table, which made it easy to sit comfortably alone.

Ordering at the kiosk: what's on the Bass Burger menu?
At Bass Burger Yeoksam, you order separately at a dedicated kiosk near the store entrance.

The menu was broadly divided into Bass Burgers, Hawaiian burgers, cheese, chicken burgers, sides & drinks, and chicken platters.

There were more burger types than I expected, so first-timers would have fun picking.
My order
- Crunch chicken burger set
- Side changed to onion rings
- Chili mozzarella cheese stick
- Craft beer Bass Lager

Since it was a set menu, the burger, side, and drink all came out on one tray, which felt like a solid combo.

Free potato chips and sauces at Bass Burger
One thing I especially liked was that potato chips were provided for free on one side of Bass Burger Yeoksam.
While waiting for the burger, I could scoop some up with tongs — crunchy and salty, and I kept reaching for more.

Ketchup and mayonnaise came in individual packets, so I could adjust the amount to my taste.
How does the crunch chicken burger taste?
The crunch chicken burger that came out first looked thick just by its appearance.
On the first bite, the fried chicken coating felt crispy, and the variety of vegetables inside kept it from feeling greasy.
The bun was on the soft side, so it wasn't heavy to chew along with the chicken patty, and the coleslaw added a nice crunchy texture too.

Chili mozzarella cheese stick, onion rings and Bass Lager craft beer
The chili mozzarella cheese stick I ordered alongside was on the spicier side, which actually made it feel less greasy to enjoy.

The onion rings I swapped in as my side had a crispy coating, and their rich, oily feel paired well with the beer.
And above all, what I liked most was the craft beer Bass Lager.

I didn't expect much from a burger place, but it went down smoothly with a refreshing finish — I was really satisfied drinking it.

What to know before visiting Bass Burger Yeoksam
There are a few things worth knowing before you visit.

If you have food allergies, it's good to let the staff know in advance so they can help check the ingredients.
The origins of the beef, pork, and chicken used in the patties are all posted in the store, so anyone curious about ingredients can check.
Coupon for a free chili mozzarella cheese stick or craft beer
One more thing! There was a coupon posted on the Naver store page for trying the chili mozzarella cheese stick and the craft beer.

If you're planning to visit, downloading it beforehand could help you save a bit.
