Songpa bar with a 22:30 patio cutoff and spicy pork jowl: Daegang
Daegang is an aged-sashimi pub with outdoor patio seating on Songni-dan-gil, between Seokchon and Songpanaru stations in Songpa, Seoul. The patio was already full at 7:30pm on a weekday, so seating came after a 5-minute wait, and two people spent 80,000 won on an aged sashimi platter (small, 29,000 won), spicy braised pork jowl (18,000 won), grilled chicken (11,000 won), cheese corn on a hot plate (7,000 won) and two bottles of soju. Daegang's outdoor tables run only until 22:30, so arrive early if the patio is the whole point.
