Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance is a handmade burger restaurant on Sharosu-gil by Seoul National University Station in Gwanak, Seoul, serving patties made from 100% hanwoo (Korean beef). At Daily Fix we had the Bacon Cheese Burger and Double Cheese Burger with onion rings and a Café Havana-style corn salad in smoky sauce, and the soft buns, clean-tasting hanwoo patties and palate-refreshing corn salad worked well together. If you want a handmade burger with a rich, meaty flavor, Daily Fix on Sharosu-gil is the first place that comes to mind.

Yeouido gyukatsu restaurant, lunch with Sapporo draft beer: Izawa

Izawa Yeouido Direct Store is a gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) restaurant on the 2nd floor of Yeouido Jonghap Sangga (여의도종합상가), right in front of Exit 5 of Yeouido Station in Seoul. On a lunch meetup around 1 pm, the writer walked in with no wait, grilled the striploin gyukatsu set (18,000 won) on a mini brazier and cooled off with Sapporo draft beer. Crispy outside, juicy inside and filling with rice, salad and miso soup, Izawa's gyukatsu set is a solid pick for a Yeouido office lunch or a meal with a friend.
