Ramen restaurant before Deoksugung night opening: Mentsuru spicy shoyu
Mentsuru City Hall Branch is a Japanese ramen restaurant 93m from City Hall Station Exit 10 in Jung-gu, Seoul. Dinner at 6:30pm, on the way to the Deoksugung night opening, was spicy shoyu ramen (₩11,500) and tori paitan ramen (₩12,000), ordered at a kiosk switched over to the English menu. The spice level is gentle enough for weak spice eaters and there are solo seats, so Mentsuru works well for dinner near Deoksugung and the Seoul Museum of Art.
