Solo lunch near Seolleung Station: seafood poke at Hola Poke Seolleung Branch
Hola Poke Seolleung Branch is a great poke spot when you want to eat alone or grab a quick lunch near Seolleung Station. The area is full of office workers, and at lunchtime every restaurant is packed, right? In those moments I think poke is an easy meal to eat solo without any pressure.
On days when you want veggies but also a solid helping of protein, and especially if you love seafood, I'd recommend the seafood poke. Poke is the dish I keep thinking of lately when I want something light, tasty and filling! The seafood poke I had near Seolleung Station was really good, so I wanted to share it.

Hola Poke Seolleung Branch: atmosphere and self-serve bar
The shop has an orange-toned look that felt clean and fresh. It's one of the best poke places I've eaten at recently ♡ Shrimp, scallops, and octopus too! What a seafood combo?! What I ordered that day was the seafood poke! It looked appetizing right from the start. They also picked out a soda to go with it.

At the self-serve bar you can grab your utensils, there's water, and there were extra sauces you can add too.

How was the seafood in the seafood poke?
The seafood poke at Hola Poke has shrimp, scallops and octopus, topped with flying fish roe. I mean, what a seafood combo?! haha Every spoonful has a different texture, which makes it fun to eat. Above all, the seafood was in good condition, so I could really enjoy the clean, fresh taste that seafood poke is known for.

Scallop love at a Seolleung poke shop ♡♡

Poke base: half salad, half rice for a filling bowl
That day I chose half salad, half rice as the base for my seafood poke. When you order poke, salad alone can feel a bit lacking, but with rice alone you still want plenty of veggies, right? The result: totally satisfied!
Crunchy vegetables and hearty rice with all that seafood tasted great and left me nicely full. Alternating between shrimp, scallops and octopus, then piling on the flying fish roe all at once is pure bliss. The texture of each ingredient really came through, so I didn't get tired of it to the very end.

Seafood poke with mushroom soup?
That day I also ordered the mushroom soup with my seafood poke, and a hot soup alongside the fresh, cool poke was a really nice pairing. I love poke and have tried it in many places, but this seafood poke at Hola Poke felt like the most satisfying one I've had recently. Adding the hot mushroom soup made it top-notch ♡
A spoonful of smooth mushroom soup, then a bite of poke full of fresh seafood, made the whole meal feel even richer!

Scallops, octopus, shrimp, love love love~ Solo meal at Seolleung Station: success!
