Seoul Station gyukatsu spot with jubako rice and candle swaps: Ichigyu
Ichigyu Seoul Station Branch is a gyukatsu (beef cutlet) and steki (steak) restaurant on B1 of the LG Seoul Station Building in Jung-gu, Seoul. The writer ordered the basic gyukatsu at 19,500 won for two plus karaage and shrimp tempura at 7,000 won, got warm rice served in a jubako lacquer box, and staff kept swapping the brazier candle so the beef stayed hot. Thanks to the itame sauce, Ichigyu delivered the first melt-in-the-mouth gyukatsu the writer had eaten since Japan.
