I visited Jeongjik Farm Flower (정직팜플라워), a 24-hour unstaffed flower shop near Dongtan run by a florist with 19 years of experience!

It's always bothered me that I hadn't gotten my mom a proper gift in a while. So this time, to help cheer her up, I got her a flower basket! Let me share my review of picking up a really full, pretty flower basket at the nice price of around ₩60,000 💕

It's about a 7-minute walk from Byeongjeom Station Exit 1, so it's super easy to get to by public transit. If you're driving, you don't need to worry about parking either — there are 2 dedicated parking spots right in front of the shop.

Usually at alleyway flower shops you can't find parking and end up nervously double-parking on the street, but here I could park and browse at leisure :)

24-hour unstaffed operation, tap a card to get in

Jeongjik Farm Flower's exterior looks clean and tidy. The most impressive thing was that it runs 24 hours unstaffed! You can buy or pick up flowers any time, late at night, on weekends, or holidays, no time constraints.

When visiting outside business hours, you tap a credit card or Samsung Pay on the terminal at the door, and it unlocks!

What flowers are inside the shop

Step inside and a faint scent of fresh flowers spreads through the air, with cute little blooms greeting you 💐😉 The flowers are sourced fresh from the farm every morning, so they all looked really fresh.

There's a wide variety of fresh flowers, but also preserved flowers and artificial flowers that last a long time without wilting, plus interior potted plants and repotting supplies, all neatly organized ✨️💐

For people who need a same-day purchase in a hurry, there are also ready-made mini bouquets and bouquets by price range 🩷

From a romantic single rose or carnation to bouquets for grave visits — you can just walk in without a reservation and pick whatever catches your eye.

On top of that, the owner apparently has 19 years of experience as a professional florist, and it really showed in the color combinations and flower arranging sense.

How to use Jeongjik Farm Flower (reserved pickup & unstaffed purchase)

Since this was a flower basket for my mom's birthday, I wanted to match a specific style and budget, so before visiting I messaged the owner on KakaoTalk first and arranged a pickup reservation.

Even if you visit during unstaffed hours when the owner isn't there, the process is very intuitive and not difficult at all!

3 steps for using the shop during unstaffed hours

• 1. Choose your flowers — pick from the flower fridge or flowers set out in the store. (For reservations, items are kept separately with a name tag, so just grab your own.)
• 2. Check the item and trim the stems — instructions, a water-trimming sample, and scissors are all kindly provided for self-service purchases.
• 3. Pay at the kiosk — pay the right amount by credit card, local currency, etc. at the mini kiosk beside the entrance, and you're done!

1. Choose your flowers — pick from the flower fridge or flowers set out in the store (*only flowers with a price tag can be purchased!)

2. Check the item and trim the stems — take the bouquet out of the water bucket, snip off any stem ends sticking out around the wrapping with the scissors. Then dab off remaining water with the towel provided nearby!

3. Pay at the kiosk — select your chosen flower type at the mini kiosk by the entrance, then pay the matching amount by credit card, local currency, etc. and that's it! Pretty easy, right~?

They also provide letter and memo paper for free, which I hadn't even thought of, plus a celebration topper (₩1,000) if you need one — make sure to grab those.

For reference, besides birthdays, 100-day celebrations, or anniversaries, you can also order for occasions like Parents' Day carnations, Chuseok grave-visit bouquets, or opening/condolence wreaths, and they said they deliver to Dongtan, Sema, Osan, Suwon, Bongdam, and Jeongnam 🚚💨
