Summer rattan shoulder bag review: Meda Bag

Why did I choose the Meda Bag rattan shoulder bag?

While waiting for summer, I was looking for a rattan bag and picked up the Meda Bag shoulder bag. I already had a bag with a similar feel, but its weight meant I stopped reaching for it very often, so this time I paid attention to a material that felt light.

I wanted to have it ready in advance so I could pull it out as soon as summer arrives.

How did the material and finishing feel?

When I opened it and touched it, it felt cool at my fingertips and lightweight. I worried whether such a light material would be durable, but the bag I received felt sturdy.

It felt breathable, so I thought it would feel less burdensome to carry in humid summer weather. I also checked the stitching on the inner lining, and it was neatly finished.

How much storage space does it have?

There was an additional pocket in the lining and a zipper as well. The inside felt roomy enough to fit a book, phone, and makeup pouch together, and I thought the zipper would help reduce the chance of things falling out.

What outfits did I pair it with?

The natural rattan material and same-tone lining felt clean and tidy. The size was right for me, and it looked natural even when I carried it with a winter outfit.

I thought I could carry it in spring too, and in summer I would like to use it as a vacation bag for trips to the beach or a valley.

How did I style this summer rattan shoulder bag?

I imagined wearing it with a dress or with everyday clothes such as shorts and a black T-shirt. I think I could make especially good use of it in summer, when I often wear white or beige.
