My husband has been looking at monitors so much lately that his eyes have felt tired, so we went to get blue-light-blocking glasses made 🤓 It was his first time getting glasses, and his face is seriously HUGE... He had kept putting off choosing frames, but we finally picked a day and came in haha.
We found Second Face Sinsigaji Branch, an optician in Haeundae, because we also wanted to browse lots of different branded frames 🌟
Second Face Sinsigaji Branch visit information
It is in Units 103 and 104, 175 Jwadong Sunhwan-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, and is open daily from 09:30 to 21:00. There is a street parking lot behind the building, plus parking support, so parking is no hassle!!
Parking and finding the shop
There is a street parking lot behind the building, making it easy to park 🚗 Search for Blue Club Jwadong Branch; use the first parking lot in front of Blue Club Jwadong Branch, and if the second lot is full, use Haeundae Office of Education parking.
After parking behind the shopping building and entering it, Second Face Sinsigaji Branch is easy to spot right on the side facing the main road.
There is also a lens price list posted out front, and the prices are low. You can use Dongbaekjeon, gift cards, department-store, gas-station, and Onnuri gift certificates too, so I thought the actual savings could be huge 💸
Comparing branded frames all at once
Alongside fashion labels, there were lots of specialized, well-known eyewear brands too, so browsing was fun in itself 👓🕶️
I do not know glasses in detail, but I had been interested for a while and looked up various brands. It was great to see premium labels that local opticians did not carry!

I was interested in Kumja Eyewear frames, so I checked out this model (Kumja Eyewear KV34). It is known as a classic browline frame, and the quality really was excellent; it was light and comfortable too 🙊 As expected of Kumja Eyewear...❤️
Browline frames can give very different impressions depending on your features, so I definitely recommend trying them on before buying!!
From Oakley to daily glasses
We also looked at Oakley goggles, which are popular for running and fashion, and there were so many kinds 〰️
Beyond high-priced premium brands, there were everyday glasses from ₩10,000 to ₩50,000 by price range, making them easy for first-time glasses wearers or anyone just starting to get interested in glasses 〰️🤓😎
Each pair had its price range displayed at a glance, so it was nice to browse comfortably without having to ask the staff!
Contact lenses and the eye exam room
Contact lenses are at the entrance and can be bought affordably at the prices seen outside. Perhaps because the payment-method benefits are so good, it seemed that lots of people, not only students, stopped by to buy lenses while we were browsing!
Premium-brand and budget frames were separated into price-based zones, which definitely made browsing easier 🌟
There is an eye exam room inside. After choosing frames first, you take the test and they make the lenses.
Comfortable large-face fitting and quick production
It took only about 10 minutes to make them, so we did not have to wait long and received them quickly! My husband is sensitive about frames because his face size makes him worry about glasses, but the owner's fitting skills were so good that he could choose a pair that suited him well 👓!!
I think fitting is incredibly important because the fitter's sense can change your range of choices. Every item the owner recommended looked good even on a large face and was priced accessibly for a first pair, so I think we bought really well 💞
