Spacious Hagik-dong café, Incheon: Orange Dot & salt bread at Tiny Dot

In short

Tiny Dot (타이니닷) is a large two-floor café on Juseung-ro 96beon-gil in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, with generously spaced tables. On this visit the writer ordered Tiny Dot's signature Orange Dot, a millstone matcha latte and salt bread; the bright, tangy Orange Dot and the rich, full-bodied matcha latte both paired well with the crisp-outside, soft-inside salt bread. Tiny Dot is a relaxed Hagik-dong café for unhurried conversation over dessert.

Having come here myself, I could see why locals count it among their favorite cafés in Michuhol-gu.

What's on the Tiny Dot menu?

The menu was well stocked, from signature drinks to nutty lattes and freshly baked bakery items. After sitting down and looking around the lovely space, I read the menu slowly and ordered some of Tiny Dot's distinctive best sellers.

From signature drinks to nutty lattes and fresh-baked bakery items, there were plenty of choices to suit different tastes. Out of all of them, I picked the ones I most wanted to try: the Orange Dot, the millstone matcha latte and the salt bread (a buttery roll with a salted crust)!

How does Tiny Dot's Orange Dot taste? A sweet-tart signature drink

The Orange Dot is Tiny Dot's signature drink, a curious but harmonious blend of bright orange flavor and espresso. The drinks and dessert came out neatly arranged, and the appetizing look made me exclaim out loud.

The sweet-tart flavor that filled my mouth with the first sip refreshed my mood in an instant. I could fully feel the unique charm of Tiny Dot that you can't easily find elsewhere.

How rich is Tiny Dot's millstone matcha latte?

Tiny Dot's millstone matcha latte isn't just a sugary matcha latte, it keeps a hearty texture. The millstone matcha latte I tried next also had more depth than I expected.

The bittersweet, deep flavor typical of good matcha blended perfectly with the smooth milk and brought out a rich savoriness. It wasn't a matcha latte that is merely sweet; it kept a deep, weighty texture as if finely ground in a millstone, a wonderful taste that anyone who loves matcha would fall for.

How does the salt bread pair with the Orange Dot and matcha latte?

Tiny Dot's salt bread is a textbook crispy-outside, moist-inside roll, and it went well with both the Orange Dot and the millstone matcha latte. The salt bread I had alongside the drinks was also of great quality.

It was crisp outside, and inside it tore apart moist and chewy with buttery flavor, a textbook example. The salty seasoning lifted the bread's nuttiness even more, making it an ideal partner for the bright Orange Dot or the rich millstone matcha latte. 😋

Verdict on Tiny Dot, Hagik-dong

Tiny Dot, which I introduced today, was a true Hagik-dong café, with a stylish interior and everything I ordered, the Orange Dot, millstone matcha latte and salt bread, being perfect. It's a place to enjoy tasty drinks and desserts at leisure in a lovely space, so I plan to return soon to try other menu items.

If you're looking for a roomy large café in Juan with a good atmosphere, don't hesitate: I strongly recommend visiting Tiny Dot in Michuhol-gu at least once!
