Mixed katsu set with giant shrimp tempura and mini udon: Kosi Seongsu
Kosi Seongsu Branch is a handmade Sanuki udon and Japanese tonkatsu restaurant on the first floor of a brick building in Seongdong, Seoul. The mixed katsu set brought golden loin cutlet, a whole head-to-tail giant shrimp tempura, and a complimentary mini udon in bonito broth, while the bukkake udon set showed off chewy self-made noodles with chicken karaage and inari sushi. The noodles kept their bounce and the tempura stayed crisp to the last bite, making this an easy pick for a date or a solo meal.
