In short
2002 Witch's Arpeggio is an outdoor-style Korean BBQ restaurant on Sure-ro 661beon-gil in Wabu-eup, Namyangju, Gyeonggi. The writer came with her baby and her own mother, ordered tomato-jang cheese pork belly and potato pancake, then walked straight down to the valley connected to the restaurant for a swim. Namyangju valley restaurant 2002 Witch's Arpeggio

The weather's been so fresh lately that I keep thinking about cool valley water, so I recently took my baby and my mother on a drive out to Namyangju for a change of scenery!
I searched like crazy for somewhere my kid could splash around away from the stuffy city, while the adults could also relax with good food after a nice drive. And I finally found the perfect spot — 2002 Witch's Arpeggio, famous for its outdoor atmosphere and distinctive menu.
We ate our fill of the standout main dish and savory side dishes, then went for a refreshing swim in the valley connected right below the restaurant afterward — the whole family came home 200% satisfied. I swear I kept saying "wow, we have to come back here soon!" the entire meal, so my revisit intent is 100%! Here's my honest, detailed review.
Where is 2002 Witch's Arpeggio, and what is the outdoor terrace like?
2002 Witch's Arpeggio is located at 142 Sure-ro 661beon-gil, Wabu-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do — not too far from the city, but the moment you arrive it feels like you've stepped into the middle of a forest. 👍👍 Tucked into Namyangju's clean nature, it made for the perfect drive destination.

The moment we walked in, a fresh green scent hit us along with spaces that fully captured that outdoor feeling. The terrace seating in particular had that unmistakable open-air BBQ atmosphere, and the tables were wide and comfortable — you couldn't ask for a better setting to eat with a breeze blowing through. I instantly understood why this Namyangju restaurant is so popular for its outdoor BBQ setup.‼️‼️‼️
Visiting with a baby, I tend to be picky about table spacing, cleanliness, and seating comfort, but there was plenty of room and both the baby and my parents could sit comfortably — it passed the test from the first impression!
How do the tomato-jang cheese pork belly and potato pancake taste?
2002 Witch's Arpeggio's signature dish, living up to its reputation as the original tomato-jang restaurant, is the tomato-jang cheese pork belly (토마토장치즈삼겹살)! We also ordered a side of golden, crisply pan-fried potato pancake (감자전).🙌🙌

The tomato-jang cheese pork belly that arrived first was overwhelming just to look at! Thick, quality pork belly came out cascading with special tomato-jang sauce and savory cheese, and the moment I took a bite, I couldn't stop reaching for more with my chopsticks. The chewy juiciness of the pork belly, the richness of the cheese, and

the tomato-jang's distinctive tangy umami cut right through what could have been a heavy, greasy flavor.
I can say with confidence this was a truly standout combination even among Namyangju's BBQ restaurants! Even my picky-eating mother kept eating happily, saying "the cheese and tomato-jang together make the sauce a real delicacy" 😋

The potato pancake we ordered alongside was also an excellent choice! Crispy on the outside, moist and chewy inside — it suited my baby's palate too, and she ate it happily. Taking a bite of the savory potato pancake and topping it with the tomato-jang cheese pork belly turned out to be an unexpectedly perfect combination — we cleared the plate in no time!❣️❣️
Swimming in the valley after the meal: the verdict on 2002 Witch's Arpeggio
2002 Witch's Arpeggio gave us a day where three things came together perfectly: the special, carefully made tomato-jang cheese pork belly, the crispy potato pancake, and a healing swim in the cool, clean valley right below the restaurant.💯

It's a well-rounded spot that works perfectly whether you're bringing a kid, taking your parents on a filial drive, or visiting as a couple for a Namyangju date.
If you're looking for a good Namyangju restaurant or a valley spot to take your kids to, be sure to note down 2002 Witch's Arpeggio!😄😄 My family is already missing the valley swim and the food, so we're planning to revisit soon on a nice sunny day! Highly recommend! ❤️
