Furato Shokudo Seoul Square Direct Store is a Japanese restaurant in Jung, Seoul, just outside Seoul Station Exit 9. Before taking the train, I shared gyukatsu, cold soba, and fried dishes with my daughter; the food arrived quickly, though the restaurant was busy.
Doonjeong Hongdae Direct Branch is a Korean restaurant about 200 m from Hongik University Station Exit 1 in Mapo, Seoul. I had clear gomtang, yukhoe bibimbap, and a half portion of dressed beef with my son for lunch. The clean, odor-free broth and lightly seasoned beef with minari were the highlights for me.
