Yongchon Gogi-jip is a restaurant in Toseong-myeon, Goseong, Gangwon, specialising in pork galbi (ribs) the kitchen butterflies by hand. A five-minute drive from Kensington Seorak Beach after a day at Cheonjin Beach, the family ate six servings of marinated galbi at 250g for ₩18,000 with two children, and the seasoning was mild rather than sweet or salty, with the fat neatly trimmed. Arriving at 5:20pm on a weekday meant a one-hour wait, so Yongchon Gogi-jip is best reached right at 5pm when break time ends.
