3-party wait for garlic gopchang fire show: Omokgyo Gopchang
Omokgyo Gopchang Mokdong Main Branch is a gopchang (grilled beef tripe) restaurant a five-minute walk from Exit 1 of Omokgyo Station in Yangcheon, Seoul. After waiting behind three parties in the evening rush, the writer ordered two servings of traditional handmade garlic gopchang, mixed gopchang, and Omokgyo dongchimi noodles, plus cheonyeop (beef stomach lining) and green onion kimchi banchan and a complimentary sundubu-jjigae. The garlic gopchang, limited to 20 servings a day and served with a tableside fire show, had a character all its own compared to regular gopchang.
