Omokgyo Chinese restaurant with smoky fried rice: Yugwanjang Banjeom

Yugwanjang Banjeom Omokgyo Station Branch is a Chinese restaurant on the second floor behind Exit 2 of Omokgyo Station in Yangcheon, Seoul. Two of us ordered jjajangmyeon, fried rice, and mini sweet-and-sour pork for ₩30,000. The smoky fried rice and the pork’s crisp, chewy texture stood out, and the restaurant also had separated group seating.

Omokgyo Chinese restaurant with squid jjampong: Yugwanjang

Yugwanjang Banjeom Omokgyo Station Direct Branch is a Chinese restaurant about three minutes from Omokgyo Station Exit 1 in Yangcheon, Seoul. I shared whole cuttlefish seafood jjampong and XO seafood fried rice with my sister, and liked the spicy broth, fluffy rice, and roomy seating, though this reflects the original visit’s conditions.

Omokgyo Chinese restaurant with crispy tangsuyuk: Yugwanjang

Yugwanjang Banjeom Omokgyo Branch is a Chinese restaurant on the second floor of a building opposite Hyundai Department Store in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. I had seafood jjamppong, small tangsuyuk, and jjajangmyeon on a weekday evening, and especially liked the generously sized, crisp-and-tender tangsuyuk. Parking is limited, and Monday nights have an exception to the restaurant’s 24-hour operating notice.
