Korean BBQ family dinner in Jinju: saeupsal at Sabong Hanwoochon
Sabong Hanwoochon Sikyuk Sikdang Jinju Branch is a 150-seat hanwoo (Korean beef) butcher-restaurant in Sabong-myeon, Jinju, serving only beef graded 1+ or higher. Ahead of the Chuseok holiday the writer ordered two servings of hanwoo myeongpum (130g, 39,000 won each) with yukhoe bibimbap (12,000 won) and doenjang stew (3,000 won), and the saeupsal cut was the most memorable bite. With a kids' play room, a self-serve bar and a wide parking lot beside the building, Sabong Hanwoochon works well for family gatherings and group dinners.
