Opening-time lunch at Dongam, a Gijang tteokgalbi restaurant near IKEA
Dongam Tteokgalbi is a tteokgalbi (grilled beef patty) set-meal restaurant on the 3rd floor of a building directly across from Lotte Outlet and IKEA Dongbusan in Gijang, Busan. Arriving right at opening before an IKEA shopping trip, we ordered the hanwoo tteokgalbi at 22,000 won and the Dongam tteokgalbi at 15,000 won, each served with pot rice, seaweed soup and seafood doenjang stew plus the self-serve side bar, where the tteokbokki got refilled about five times. For a filling, home-style Korean meal that is never too rich or too spicy, Dongam Tteokgalbi is a dependable pre-shopping stop.
