Daraewon Makchang Daegu Main Branch is a 50-year-old grilled pork intestine (makchang) restaurant on Pyeongni-ro in Seo-gu, Daegu. A family dinner of three servings of raw pork makchang, boneless spicy chicken feet, and doenjang stew grilled under a tent over charcoal showed off makchang with no gamey smell, golden outside and juicy inside. It's the kind of place to visit when you want old-school pojangmacha atmosphere along with chewy, savory makchang.
