Namdareun Gamjatang Suncheon Jorye branch is a Korean restaurant on Baegyeon-gil in Jorye-dong, Suncheon, serving gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup) and pork bone stew. Two diners ordered the Namdareun bone stew in the couple size (2.7), refilled self-bar kkakdugi three times, and finished the leftover broth with a ramen noodle add-on. The ugeoji (napa cabbage) was slightly tough, but the meat was tender enough that even a companion who dislikes pork cleaned the pot.

Deokeun Jangeo Gwangyang Branch is a charcoal-grilled eel restaurant on Hangman 9-ro in Gwangyang, where you choose your cleaned eel on the first floor and grill it over charcoal on the second. Two people ordered a full course of two eels (45,000 won) plus eel soup, eel tteokgalbi (grilled minced patty) and nurungji (scorched rice), with banchan (side dishes) unlimited from the self-serve bar. The tteokgalbi barely tastes of eel but suits children, while the grilled eel finished with nurungji is a genuinely restorative meal.
