Korean beef restaurant near Jeonju Zoo: skirt steak at Hoseongjeong

Hoseongjeong Butcher's Restaurant is a hanwoo (Korean beef) butcher's restaurant on the main road in Hoseong-dong, Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, a short drive from Jeonju Zoo. Over a work-trip dinner, we grilled anchangsal (skirt steak), salchisal (flat iron) and bujaesal (chuck flap) in that order, adding bean sprouts to the grill on the owner's recommendation. With no table charge and soju at 2,000 won and beer at 2,500 won, Hoseongjeong is an easy place to eat premium hanwoo cuts without spending much.
