Friday-night Korean BBQ with green onion kimchi in Gueui: Sanggu's

Sanggu's Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal Gueui Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant on Achasan-ro in Gwangjin, Seoul, between Gangbyeon and Gueui stations. On a Friday 7pm return visit, the writer waited for a table, then ate the half-plate set of pork belly and pork neck — grilled by staff with aged kimchi, bean sprouts, green onion kimchi and bracken fern — and finished with fried rice. With 1,900 won draft beer and a free self-serve wrap vegetable bar, Sanggu's made a filling, good-value meal for two.
