Seocho Station lamb skewers: loin vs rib, Hanseong Yang Kkochi
Hanseong Yang Kkochi Gyodae Branch 2 is a lamb skewer and Chinese restaurant near exit 14 of Gyodae Station, also within walking distance of Seocho Station in Seoul. Lamb loin skewers and lamb rib skewers eaten back to back showed a clear difference at Hanseong Yang Kkochi: the loin is thick, chewy and clean-tasting, while the ribs are fattier and meltingly tender, and the mala xiangguo (spicy stir-fried meat and vegetables) arrives in a huge bowl. The mala xiangguo is only about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, so even spice-shy diners can finish it without tiring of it.
