Yongridan-gil izakaya: four highballs and jjamppong ramen, Hatpiendo
Hatpiendo is a second-floor izakaya with floor-to-ceiling windows in the Yongridan-gil alley by Exit 3 of Samgakji Station in Yongsan, Seoul. After dinner elsewhere, the writer dropped into Hatpiendo for a second round, took a counter seat and ordered grapefruit, plum and Earl Grey highballs plus yuzu sawa, with potato salad and seafood-loaded jjamppong ramen (spicy noodle soup) to share. Light enough to enjoy even on a full stomach, Hatpiendo makes an easy pick for a second-round bar.
