Seoul Korean BBQ in Jongno 3-ga: 2-hour Friday wait, Tapgol Set

Tapgol Gongwon Jongno 3-ga Branch is an outdoor Korean BBQ restaurant beside the stone wall path in Jongno 3-ga, Seoul, where you grill the meat yourself at open-air tables. Joining the waitlist at 5:30pm on a Friday meant a 2-hour wait for the Tapgol Set of pork belly, duck roast and pork neck, served with brisket doenjang stew at 7,000 won, steamed egg at 5,000 won and kimchi fried rice to finish. There is a 90-minute limit on weekends and holidays, but with the sunset and the lights coming on, Tapgol Gongwon was still a very good choice.
