Cheonho Station gukbap restaurant, spicy vs regular: Boseung Hoegwan

Boseung Hoegwan Cheonho Station Branch is a 24-hour sundae gukbap (pork and blood sausage soup) restaurant in Gangdong, Seoul, a 1-minute walk from Exit 3 of Cheonho Station on Line 5. On a weekday visit around 1pm, the regular sundae gukbap and the spicy sundae gukbap were ordered side by side at 11,000 won each to compare broth colour and heat, and the napa cabbage kimchi from the free side dishes was so good it was finished before the soup. The broth at Boseung Hoegwan is rich with no gamy smell and packed with ingredients, making it an easy choice for solo diners or a meal with a drink.
